I just realized there is a "thread from start" button. This is awesome.

Did LJ ever have a thread from start function? If not why not, I sense this thing being incredibly useful in the future

Augh like when people link you a certain comment but it's at the end of the thread and you have to keep hitting "parent" or "view all comments" then go find the one you were reading

Yeah that was always really annoying, especially when you wanted to see what sparked a particular comment.

It is pretty awesome, isn't it?

And there's a "top-level comments only" option, so people who don't want to slog through every comment can do that and just expand the ones they want to read.
