Oh, if you're talking about major characters, I definitely agree with you. But I thought it was nice seeing prostitutes of all shapes and sizes bouncing around the brothel, including a couple who were medium build like me and even overweight! Normally, it feels like if you're above a size 2, you can't even be an extra in a show.

It's not perfect, but it's still better than any other show I've seen. Do you have any recommendations for better shows?

Yeah, but that is the difference: only those who are bouncing around "are allowed" to show variety of different bodies. Mind you if they would cast a female main character (which has to got naked) who doesn't look like a model.

I don't have any recommendations because the shows (I don't have pay-tv) I normally watch don't have tons of naked people in it (and I hate it when they throw naked people/sex just for the sake of getting more viewers in). And yes I like it better that way because there I can at least imagine that some of the actors aren't allover perfect. (and no, I'm not a prude)

Oh, I never thought about it that way before. :( I was just excited to see someone who didn't fit the Hollywood cookie-cutter appearing on TV at all, and thought it was a step in the right direction.

I totally agree that nudity completely unnecessary most (if not all) of the time in shows, and they usually are just tossing in some boobs for fanservice. But I don't let it get in the way of enjoying a show with an interesting plot and good acting, which seems to be a rarity these days.

OT, but I think this needs saying: I specialized in life drawing and portraiture when I was in art school, so I've seen a lot of faces and nude bodies. In my opinion, there's such a thing as an "allover perfect" body or even a "flawed" one, no matter what Hollywood may say about thin/athletic types being the only acceptable body type (most likely to sell diet plans, LOL). They're all beautiful in their own way.

... really, cos I didn't see any fat women. Unless you're USian and have strange ideas of "overweight"?
