It's a scene from Scrubs -- JD knocks himself out with his own failed attempt at a hookshot while trying to play basketball to impress the other doctors, so Turk lies down next to him until he wakes up, and gives the "just chillin'" explanation. It's actually my single favorite scene from the entire show and fits Thor and Loki ridiculously well.

Sorry if you knew this already XD Also, just curious: is your username a reference to The Jungle Book?

I love 'Scrubs' but my memory is horrible, so reminding me of that scene makes me grin. It *is* perfect for Thor and Loki!

The Jungle Book is one of my favorite books ever. It was one of the first "grown-up" books I ever read and I have re-read it at least twice a year ever since I was seven. I remember immediately going *flail* when I saw your username for the first time, but I kept forgetting to ask you :)

Oh, yes - i have adored The Jungle Books since i was a kid, too. Read and reread them. I even wrote to the Kipling Society to ask about the name Tabaqui, if it was an actual name or a made up thing, and how you pronounced it. :)
