Last year somewhere there was neurobiological study on face recognition that proved we have an easier time noting differences in our own race than others and it was left over from when we were wandering around in tribes so people could easily distinguish themselves from 'outsiders.'

Personally, I'm mixed race and I have no memory for faces. None. Or remembering names.

But clothing! Good grief, I'll have all your shoes catalogued in a week.
