The deleted opening was gold. I don't get why the cut it D:

I know, right? And the extended table-flip scene where Thor's like, "You're not going to let me and my brother hog all the glory, are you?" and Loki being all like, "Wait, I'm invited?" was precious. And then the extended scene with Loki and Frigga and the moment when he realizes he gets to be king now... removed for the sake of the "big reveal" later with Sif and the Warriors Three finding him on the throne. Personally, I'd rather they kept the character development moment rather than try to shock me (the shock didn't work), but alas...
