I really fucking hate these illustrations. Every time I see one I cringe at how bad they are. They look like they were done by a twelve year old -- all super saturated colours and uniform textures and abuse of the smoothing brush. I mean sure, there's far worse out there, but also so much better, so why does it have to be the principle fan art that everyone defers to for ASOIAF?
