Ugh, I hadn't even thought of that. :( Though I feel it would be harder to pull off just because so much of what happens with Shae is pretty dependent on who she is as a character/her established relationships. Replacing her with someone with no real ties to anyone save Littlefinger (and now Varys?) would make everything seem kind of... less meaningful?

Personally, I'm just scared that they're going to try to use Ros to replace Jeyne Poole when/if they get that far in the series.

She has ties to Tyrion in a sort of broad way that makes me think she could be given the later Shae plot. She's the one Tyrion was with when Jaime goes to collect him in the pilot, and then we see she's one of the girls he picked out for Joffrey in Kings Landing, and with their interaction in front of Cersei it looked strained but real enough on her end, that she wasn't too thrown off. Cersei may go after her again, because of the lose but visible tie, and Ros could very well go along with it.

Really? Because I hate this made-up crap. When did Ros become a character and why is she still here? More importantly, why make up shit when you can give the Hound back his lines and screen time. /rant

When GRRM made 500,000 characters no one can be bothered to keep up with, and the show switching between five prostitutes when one with actual development will do the job better was too expensive. As for the Hound we can probably assume he'll do little else with the plot, so in lieu of POV dialog, they develop other characters by giving them useful lines.

Because seriously, the liars comment and storytime WORKED better with Littlefinger.

Er, really? Like darkshipping? Because I'm down with that, usually, but in this case...I am really not very okay with the idea that her character exists to get naked and be beaten to show men's cruelty. Just...no. If we want to develop her more aside from that, or make this partnership with Varys more interesting, then OK, but for now, I am just entirely NHFT.
