Honestly, I don't know how much fandom/fic 30 Rock had besides Jack/Liz...? I could be totally wrong, but I've been into the show for years and I haven't seen much.

When you get right down to it, there wasn't even that much of that. It's always been pretty quiet.

I think 30 Rock is a challenging show to write fic for. Getting the voices and tone right would be very hard, and I don't think there are many writers who feel up to the task or who feel sufficiently moved to try. It's a satisfying show on its own, for most fans.

Sitcom fanfic can be difficult because writing comedy in a similar style to the show isn't all that easy for a lot of people. Depending on the show, a lot of what makes it really hilarious is the delivery of the actors, which isn't going to come across well in text. Meanwhile, the kinds of humor that work well in writing may not have the same feel as the style of humor on a show.

30 Rock is one of my favourite shows, but I feel like I've missed lots of it because we're always like a season behind here.

But yeah, it has generally been pretty quiet on the fandom front. Though there are totally lots of different things that can be shipped on that show! It kind of sucks that it's all Jack/Liz, because I can see why that would be popular but there's all sorts of ridiculous other ships that you could have.
