Homestuck shipping is really the greatest. :D I'm kind of a fan of Roxy/Eridan actually, as far as weird ships with Eri go. But I'll look at lovely art of pretty much any pairing - there's just some fabulous work out there. :)

Are you defining a "shipper" as someone who likes to ship or someone who is adamant and militant about hating every ship that conflicts with theirs?

Me saying "I like Rose x Kanaya" isn't the same thing as putting down other peoples' ships. I prefer it over Jake x Dirk, but that doesn't mean I'm bashing anyone who likes the latter. (Hell, the two ships aren't even in conflict!)

Maybe that's what the person I replied to meant, and if so I unintentionally carried over some of their vehemence. I was just voicing agreement on a ship I do happened to like.

ETA: just read a bunch of comments replying to anon I replied to and realize that a lot of people saw anon that way (as a militant bashing shipper). I feel kinda bad now because I never meant to perpetuate that. =( I'm definitely a ship-and-let-ship person - I have preferences just like everybody but I'm not going to put anyone down for who they ship. OP, if you read this, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do that. =/
