Well. I guess I'm racist then. I wonder if I'm racist against white people or poc. I'm a Japanese-Irish woman (I look more like my mother, so I guess I could pass for a white person). Now I'm all sorts of conflicted.

So...do I announce I'm racist in conversation? Do poc announce their poc in conversation? Do people (I'm assuming it's not PC to say "white people"...since I'm racist, should I care?) of non-color announce their colorless in conversation?

What about heterosexuality? Homosexuality? Why should anyone care what color someone is or is not? Why should anyone care about what sexuality someone is?

What about education?

Okay, I get this is media's reflection on society. I turned on the TV just now and there are at least two shows on that have protagonists in high school. Are higher education students or working adults feeling oppressed because there aren't any "real" representations of them in these shows? No, hell no. I can't really comment on color, because I don't see any poc, really.
