For the first one, go into the disk, drag the application into your applications folder, and then eject the disk. Should work fine.

No clue about the second though. :|a

Huh, I swear when I tried that before, the disk would come back whenever I reopened the application. Doesn't appear to have done it this time! I'm working on the assumption that it's not going to come back. Thanks! =]
