That's a clip from episode ten. Notice where Asami is, now notice where Korra is. Pretty sure Makorra is coming :B

Think you're reaching anon. Here I can make more silly conclusions from a clip

- Maybe Asami has broken up with Mako
- All the benders are sitting near benders and Asami is alone. Maybe she's leaving the team
- Or talking about a nonbender's POV
-Bolin's taking food from Korra's bowl = instant relationship
- Notice how Tenzin is sitting near Lin. OBVIOUSLY they're in a relationship now since Penma is mirroring Bolin
- Omg Bolin and Penma are dating they're on the same side of the table.
Unless unaffiliated people don't get anyone sitting diagonal to them (Lin and Mako) and people in a potential relationship get their spouse on the corner (Tenzin/Penma, Korra/Bolin)
- Or it could be a stupid rebound, which is a bad basis for a relationship and a painful cliche.

DO YOU LIKE MY CONCLUSIONS ANON. ALL BASED ON THE SAME EVIDENCE.

Because really. They're sitting next to each other = instant relationship

How about the fact, in another scene, once again Mako is right behind Korra, while Asami is way in back holding onto Bolin. Weird order there, hmmmm.

Zutarian? Cute. My reasoning is sound. Asami learned Mako kissed Korra in the last episode. She saw him go crazy with worry about Korra (And before you go "oh zutara thank lolol" she says it herself in the episode. It's why she goes to Bolin to ask why he was acting so upset.

How does that episode end? With Bolin everyone out of the way, carrying Korra in his arms, and then brushing her cheek with his hand. Right after Asami looks on in pain.

I wonder what the point of that was, huh?

See, now if you started with arguments about episodes we already saw, that'd go better. But instead you went with "these frames show everything!"

We got a season and two episodes to go before I think we should confirm anything for good.

Though I do support your Borra AU.

Mako and Asami went from being so close, to her now being shown apart from Mako. Do you honestly think Asami would be okay with Mako being right behind Korra after episode nine, or even after episode eight (Glaring into the rearview mirror at them)

There's two instances in episode ten where Mako is close to Korra while Asami is far away. This isn't as reaching as you're trying to make it out to be.

And for all you know, Asami is keeping her distance, and Mako is about to ask her what's up and they have a big makeup moment and kiss just before the climax begins. Or in the aftermath.

Am I speculating? Sure I am. And so are you. You are taking the facts and saying they must mean one thing. Now, when they release a breakup scene preview/link, then I'll agree with you that these scene clearly meant what you are sure they mean. Till then, I'm gonna hold off my conclusions.

Also you can't pull the weak avatar standard of an insult here either. Unlike Zutara, it is canonically confirmed that Mako and Korra have feelings for each other. Episode five and episode nine are about this.

I don't dispute this. But citing table placement as irrefutable proof the ship is going to happen is reaching.

You're reaching for evidence from clips of an episode that doesn't exist yet. Even if Makorra is endgame, these particular clips are as likely to mean nothing because so far the majority of "makorra" preview clips have been something else.
JUST because they're in the same 1 second frame and other characters are not doesn't mean that particular frame means they're banging each other.

Should also point out that I don't think they're dating now, but that Masami is going to be ending very soon. Episode nine was all about Mako losing his cool over Korra being in trouble, he completely forgets about Asami/Snaps at her/Brushes her aside to carry Korra to safety. All the while Asami looks on,

Next episode...we get two clips of Asami sitting farther away from the two. Even so far as to be in the back while riding on Naga, while Mako sits behind Korra, gripping her hips. :P

This... isn't irony at all though. Kataang happened. If the ship I don't want happens this time, that's not inherently irony. It'd be irony if I spent this cartoon desperately looking for proof of an alternate ship that obviously isn't going to happen. Because then I'd be the new zutarian.

All I'm saying is I'd rather this ship not happen in canon and that I don't think we can say it's solidly confirmed just yet. I do concede that it could happen and that there is evidence for it. I hope Byrke is going to bring the troll boot down again on the shippers but it seems to be played straighter this time.

I'd be completely okay with a compromise... Zukorra. It fufils the desires of both the Zutarians and the Iroh/Toph shippers in one!

Just thought I'd come back and say, HAH. After today's episode, I was completely right about how Asami's placement meant something. Feels so good to be proven right in the face of assholes ;)
