omg so very much agreed. And I was reading this last night/today which hits exactly all the points that I find annoying. Also the love-triangle/cuadrangle/whatever feels so awkward and out of place.

eta: also adding that the character inconsistency due to romance makes me want to hit my head against a wall. They created fun and wonderful characters that you could easily develope (and I personally found the first 4 episodes fun) but the forced romance/jealousy fucks it up so bad.

That was a good essay, but I feel bad because what I really got out that post is that I ship Korra/Asami and Korra/Lin like burning.

I hate to ask, but does anyone know of any good fic for those pairing I usually give this fandom a wide berth... so I'd appreciate some recs.

It's okay. I've been shipping Korra/Asami since episode 6 so... At first not seriously, but now that Makorra officially annoys me, I'm shipping Korra/Asami harder now.
