Aw, I love his hair, it's very hydrodynamic, hahaha. Seriously, you see more angst with M'gann? She's, like, the complete angst antidote for me, like a basketful of kittens. But Kaldur - and keep in mind this is all utter fan theory based on fifteen episodes - I see the angst by him being a fish out of water, literally with visibly inhuman attributes that he can't hide with ease or comfort. Throw in spooky tattoos, a constant need for hydration, and super strength, he's a guy who has to make strides to always contain himself in the world and who tends to stand alone a lot. He does it with his emotions, too, always taking hits and holding fast, no matter how justified he'd be in getting angry or letting go, just zenning with any pain he has. His restraint and fortitude is frankly astonishing and I think he has to pay a high price for it, that it doesn't just flow off his back. It's what makes him a great leader, but also what makes him very vulnerable to a hard and sudden break when zen stops being enough and he has nothing else to fall back on, because everyone else thought he was just so invincible. I can give specific examples of moments I think support this, but this is getting long, lol.

As for humor, I personally find it hilarious how he's so self-possessed that he takes absurd situations with a straight face and long-suffering patience, not because he can't tell something is exactly as stupid as it seems, but because he's always trying to be the practical one rather than just react. Kaldur steps forward and deals with ridiculousness while everyone else is still having hysterics and that makes him an awesome foil for trolls and straight men alike. But that's just how I see it.
