I can't really speak for what he does in the movie/etc, since I've never seen it [nor do I intend to - superhero movies just aren't my bag] but...For some people it could be *because* it's Samuel L. Jackson playing him? I just say this because, from personal experience, he tends to kill any character for me, for some reason. [And before someone jumps in with the 'you're a racist' stuff people seem to love to do here, no. It's not because of his ethnicity - there's something about his voice I don't like.]
