...Am I the only one who really dislikes this new trend of getting actors to "play" characters in video games?

I am SO over Ellen Page it's not even funny. Everyone else seems so charmed by her, but I just don't see it. Whenever she's onscreen I get annoyed. I can't explain it.

I like the idea of live-action capturing to make the movements realistic (like Uncharted) but yeah, I'm getting sick of actors taking over everything. Just like there's few professional magazine models anymore, the voice acting industry is getting flooded with actual actors. Which sucks for me, since my dream is to become a voice actor.

Well, they're all actors in the end. Some voice actors have done live acting too, like Tara Strong. I think it's awesome.

Only not. I can't go with the idealistic "WELL WE'RE ALL THE SAME" when my dream job is being overtaken by people like Christian Bale.

There's so many talented voice actors out there who will never get a chance to shine because all of these actors are taking their spots because they're ~famous~ and might get more sells, even if they suck at it.
