You hate that people bash her because of the love triangle thing. So you pimp her on your dash to show everyone how sane and reasonable you are, hoping it will lure away "crazies". I can't help but see it as silly though. I dread the day when/if Bryke writes in a flaw for her. Haters will go nuts hating her and lovers go nuts defending her.
The Pema thing too. Some people had legitimate reasons why she rubbed them the wrong way (terrible advice), but people focused on the belligerent Tenlin ranters (shes a man stealer!1@).
Or that some fans are trying really hard to push that Makorra is the "new Zutara" and that's where all the crazy moved. Frankly, I've seen good amounts of wank in every corner of the LoK fandom (ie Korra is a slut for kissing Mako and not looking adorakable Bolin's way).
It's shit like that that has made me decide to avoid the tumblr fandom now. Dash is either filled with *ridiculous wank* or *trying too hard to exclude self from crazy by constantly addressing said wank*. After what happened in the Atla fandom, I guess it isn't too surprising.
TLDR; does anyone know of any good LoK comms that try to avoid wank? Because clearly I'm in the wrong areas.
