If the last three lines weren't there, this would have been wonderful.

As it is, it was just made by some dick and now promoted by another dick who wants to look all smart and be smug about something.

Edit: Oh, you were self promoting your blog. So there's just one dick. And the dick is you.

PS. I looked at some of your other posts. I'm glad to see everything I assumed about you remains unchallenged fucknuts.

huh, what? No, I mean I linked that on my DW the other day. I'm not on Tumblr and I've never submitted anything to Hey, Author. I do love it as an antidote to the worst parts of writing culture, though.

Okay, fair enough, I misread what you said, and you replied before I could edit again.

Nontheless I have the following reply.

Two can play at this shitty game! If trivializing the misery of the human condition is what it takes for writing culture to be properly criticized, I'd rather it's problems remain and it's critics observe taste.

Edit: Yes, I mad.

...do you not get....that that is part of the point of Hey, Author as satire? That authors routinely trivialise human misery in order to get a cheap reaction or to big themselves up?

I see that you are mad.

the person who runs that blog is doing the exact same thing they're saying authors do. It isn't satire; it's complaining about trivial bullshit all around.

Like, ok, you don't like the shittier parts of writing culture. It isn't 'smarter' to juxtapose it with pictures of actual suffering to 'show them what's wrong'. Because the sentiment is as trivial as what it's trying to attack.

This is so. Dumb.
