You'd be surprised how little new pagans read about their religion or make any sort of research. It's usually mouth to mouth stuff and doctrines between groups which is really sad. Really, they use mostly someone else's interpretation.

Luckily I know few neo pagans who are not neonazi and few of them actually does research.
