(Anonymous) 2012-06-29 05:45 am (UTC)(link)The Beauty series is different. It's a trilogy set in a fantasy world, and there are a lot of good things about it… and also a lot of gross cliches and weird purple-ish prose and rape. So basically they're like all Anne Rice books.
Exit to Eden was a standalone about a BDSM resort in the real world. I've never read the whole thing, but I've read outtakes from it in gay erotica anthologies. She was apparently asked to remove almost all the same-sex stuff by her publisher, which kind of sucks.
