OP here, like it says I'm new and I've seen the Not!Anthea classification around but am not entirely clear on what it means. Does it just mean 'Anthea before she becomes Anthea as we know her?' Or 'Anthea's place in the show but with someone completely different?' I haven't read any Anthea fic yet.

Also now you've said it the image is stuck. Mycroft/Lolita!Anthea headcanon accepted.

I think it's because John asks her her name and she says Anthea, and then he says "Is that your real name?" and she says no. So we don't know her real name, only that it isn't Anthea, lol

Ah, that's right! I'd forgotten that, thank you. A pity though, Anthea is a beautiful name and it suits her i think.
