A lot of people's thighs touch. You'd have a smaller number of people whose thighs don't, to be honest. My thighs touch, and I'm a UK size 10.

Actually that woman's thighs don't really touch that much. But it'd be unhealthy to make yourself lose weight to fit into that shape since your bone structure comes into it as well; no matter how skinny some people get their thighs may always touch. Not saying you are trying to lose weight, but it's really not a big deal.

Although I don't see how this is a fandom secret either...

That's really common, actually. Bone structure plays a big role, and lbr, models usually have a very specific body type (and that's not even starting in on photoshopping, and I believe one of the areas they commonly 'shop is thighs). I know it's easy to say "you have nothing to be insecure about", but... really, you don't. :)
