Same. My poor childhood.

Also, the fact that the whole universe seems so sexless is something I like about it. Not that I don't like sex, but it seems to be so all over every story nowadays that's it's nice to have one that steers clear of it

I wish I could have a "Ow, my childhood" moment, but nothing is sacred to me, apparently. When I saw that Haddock/Tintin slash was a thing, like, six months ago, I was like, "Okay, yeah. I can go for that." And, Tintin was one of the few shows I had such fond childhood memories of too.

I even see that "sexless" thing you are talking about, but I think that aspect was part of the appeal for me.
