right? it's so incredibly embarrassing that a series produced in the 21st century manages to be less progressive in the female characterization front than interpretations of the legend that are over 500 yrs old.
morgan le fay tends to be an intriguing character even in some of the most misogynistic, godawful interpretations of the myths. i feel like the merlin writers deserve some kind of award for botching a good character concept so badly.
