The worst that's likely to happen is **crickets**. If you don't believe me, go to a fic archive, pick a few fics until you find some that are just plain bad, and check the comments. You might see a very little negative feedback depending on the site but you're much more likely to see no feedback as a response to bad work.

Echoing things said above - writing is a craft and your first attempt will not be your best, but if you put your heart into it at all you ARE likely to get a little love back from it. While it takes practice to get any good at it not all n00bs are equal. If you like reading, care about what you're doing, and you're relatively intelligent you will be starting way above the level that most of FFN starts out at.
