You know, years ago, I posted a fic and someone DID tell me it was awful, and to stop writing. I didn't. I soon learned to recognize that the negative comments weren't the only ones I was getting.

I suppose it's more difficult for you, since you've NEVER shared your writing before. It's scary. Guaranteed, though, there are always going to be people that like what you do, and people that don't. There are far too many people in this world (and on the internet in general) for EVERYONE to be indifferent to you. Give yourself a fighting chance. I promise, you'll be a stronger, better writer simply by allowing your writing to be seen.
