Oh, F!S...the discussions we have here.

I usually open the new sanitary napkin on my thigh, the non-sticky side down, and peel the wrapper off, then put the used one in the wrapper and throw it away, and then I can take the new one off my leg and use it. Others probably have other methods. I never liked sticking it to my thigh because the sticky stuff on those things is really strong, or at least it seems to me.

Oh wow, it literally never occurred to me to place the new one sticky-side down on my thigh haha! I think I must have been operating with a slight towel-surface taboo, given the ickiness once it's used. This actually simplifies the procedure slightly, and doesn't involve reducing stickiness.

That's exactly how I do it.
