I had a similar experience a few months ago. My friend was all "I have something important to tell you" and made it sound all grave like he was dying of some illness and he closed all the doors to the room and he was like "I'm bi. And I'm seeing a guy right now." And I was like "Okay. And...?" because I was seriously waiting for him to say "And I have AIDS" or something else really stereotypical.

He was at first confused, but I was like "You're acting like this is a SERIOUSLY HUGE SURPRISING DEAL, but trust me, I'm completely cool with it, and I've also suspected you're not entirely straight for like... ten years."

He was quite disappointed that he hadn't been hiding it as well as he thought.
