I LOVE when women use swords or daggers to get into the thick of a battle, and those weapons appeal to me more too. But I don't really see anything wrong with a bow or guns either. Everyone has different skill-sets! Now if the only reason they can't use melee weapons is simply because of gender? Fuck that.

Not that I've used any of these things IRL so I can't speak to the level of skill they involve, but I suck hardcore with bows in video-games and so anytime I see a character who excels at using one, I'm like "Right on!"
