Yeah me too. I was very late to the party where LOTS is concerned - I just watched the two seasons recently on Netflix. For a show about a male hero, I thought it was surprisingly awesome for the female characters.

Me too: I watched a couple episodes when S2 was airing, but I didn't really get into until this past month. It's so good; like you said, for something about a male hero, there was a LOT of good stuff for the ladies.

This! Even though it's kind of typical in terms of "Oh, Richard's the chosen one" Kahlan's super amazing/badass, Cara's fantastic and definitely not your typical female character, and even in terms of side characters you've got the host of confessors and mord sith, in addition to people like Shota who's just as powerful as Zedd is.

Goodness I love LOTS.
