Yeah, I love close-up brawls, so I've been frustrated since I was little over how female characters usually use bows or magic of some sort. Though I didn't feel that way about Katniss in the Hunger Games, but I guess that's because it's more realistic than those shows where everyone sans the women have super-human strength.
