Actually, I thought we got more from Hermes than we did most of the gods, particularly later in the first series - but that could be because I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Hermes ^^;; Still, he's been around for thousands of years, so I'd assume he picked it up somewhere? He was one of the gods who seemed more open to the modern world, and it seemed like he spent quite a bit of time with Luke's mother before she tried to become the oracle? Enough that he made an effort to point out that they could never see each other again if she succeeded anyways. So I don't think it would be completely impossible for him to think to add it.

Maybe...but at the same time, wasn't it said somewhere that they tend to bounce around to where ever the action is? So the chances of them seeing that are already pretty slim...Plus there is the [slight] chance they may decide that it would be 'helping' the competitor, or that - since the gamemakers were mostly male, they didn't even think about it before hand.

You're prob right about Hermes. It just was interesting how...human...the gods seemed much of the time. They're obviously fallible and don't actually know everything. But Hermes probably does know that detail.

Were the gamemakers actually mostly male? I don't remember that.
