Back to topic; I don't think you should tell your friend she's boring, but you are entitled to actually do something else than stand around and wait for her to get photographed. I think your friend keeps doing it because she thinks it's okay not to do anything else when she's with you, and you haven't given her any reason to think otherwise. It's almost like you've created a status quota, and maybe she's just as afraid to break it as you are. So, next time, inform her she's free to stay in one spot while you go do something else. Or if you don't wanna go to cons, just tell her you'd like to do something else. If she's not willing to spend time with you after that, then maybe she's not the friend you thought she was.
