OT, but I think Robin might be my favorite OP character.

Back to topic; I don't think you should tell your friend she's boring, but you are entitled to actually do something else than stand around and wait for her to get photographed. I think your friend keeps doing it because she thinks it's okay not to do anything else when she's with you, and you haven't given her any reason to think otherwise. It's almost like you've created a status quota, and maybe she's just as afraid to break it as you are.
So, next time, inform her she's free to stay in one spot while you go do something else. Or if you don't wanna go to cons, just tell her you'd like to do something else.
If she's not willing to spend time with you after that, then maybe she's not the friend you thought she was.

This! Talk to your friend! If you've just been hanging around trying to be polite about it, and she's really happy to be getting a lot of attention and pictures, she's going to be distracted and not pick up on any of the signals that you're not having a good time. Maybe try to come off like you're not judging her for what she likes, but let her know how you're feeling.

Perhaps a compromise is in order? She could find out when the photographers are likely to be out, and you can spend half the con roaming around and the other half doing what she likes. Or suggest activities that you both enjoy to do when it's not con time.

But seriously, if she's having a lot of fun she's NOT GOING TO PICK UP on how you feel if you're not making it clear. JUST TALK.

Robin/Franky is my favorite OP ship. I also Hancock/Luffy and Zoro/Luffy, hard, but Robin and Franky are my OTP. Mainly because she's not afraid to grab his balls.

When you get bored standing there watching her network, go find other things to do at the con. (Also, if there are other things you already want to do, go do them and don't let your friend get in the way.) Make "dates" to meet up with her during the con, like at meal times, when she's less likely to be networking. Don't ask if she wants to do this - put it in more definite terms: "Let's meet up for dinner. Six o'clock would be a good time for me." Also, do some of your own "networking" - even if you don't need the cosplay connections, go ahead and chat up the other cosplayers and photogrpahers. You might make new friends and by asserting yourself in your friend's presence, she is less likely to take you for granted.

I like this idea.

OP really shouldn't stand around and be bored when the whole point of conventions is having fun. If you have something you would rather be doing, do it! Maybe your friend will realize she's been ignoring you, or maybe not...but either way you'll probably be having a lot more fun and not feeling like you're wasting your time, and that's a good thing.

You don't have to spend the entire con with her. I always end up branching off from my friends at cons, even when we're doing a group cosplay. We just have too many different interests. One friend just liked hanging around taking pictures with others, another liked going to every single talk, I liked doing both and checking out the vendors, etc... you can always do your own thing and then meet up for lunch/dinner and talk about all the cool stuff you saw.
