Jared isn't nearly as bulked up as he was in season two. I definitely agree about the sideburns, oh my god. As for Jensen, I don't think it's fear of saying the wrong thing, I think it's an intense need for privacy - I have no idea why, but it seems so strong that it makes me think there is a specific reason or event that caused it. I agree that we definitely don't know the real guy behind the actor. Then again, I think Jared is too far on the other side of the coin. He definitely overshares.

Having said that, I love these two guys as if they were my own brothers. I have no idea why they caught me so strongly, but there you go.

Considering the insane fangirls that harass his wife/constantly, to the point of sheer mental illness, rage at anyone who says he's not 'totes gay with jared', I wouldn't be surprised at how private he is...

I think I read somewhere that he was so shy that people thought he had Asperger's at first and it was added to his IMDB page before he denied it.

There was also a story about a girl who knew him when he was young, and he confessed to having a crush on her to her face before blushing up to his forehead and leaving without waiting for her reply (or something like that, it's a bit fuzzy).

Uh, intense need for privacy could just mean he's introverted.

There is definitely a reason, and that reason is that some of his bigger fans are the stuff of nightmares.If I had fans even 1/8th as terrifying as Jensen's scary ones, I'd hold a lot back and try and be extra private too. Hell, I don't think I'd ever go anywhere within 20 miles of a convention for whatever I was famous for, ever.

I'm curious why you seem to expect actors or any other celebrities to NOT have a public face and a private face. I mean, really, they're 'hiding themselves'? How DARE somebody want privacy!

Also, you've hung around Jared a lot to know that, huh?

I mean it's not like non-celebreties go around telling complete strangers everything. Everyone wants privacy and looking at all the press - espcially when it comes to relationships - I would completely understand it if they wouldn't ever tell anyone anything.

FLATULENT? That's not likeable. I have a friend who farts all the time, and it sucks. My cat also farts.

But farts are funny.

Wow, so...there's an actor who doesn't like you knowing everything about him? Stop the presses.

But seriously, he's private, big deal. Some people are. And honestly, can you blame him after some of the things his 'biggest' fans have done? It's actually smart for him to keep some things to himself.

And...you don't find Jared attractive and hate farts. K, to each their own, but these are petty things to not like a person for. (Not even bringing up the working out bit because seriously, how could you know.)

I'm not even a big fan of Misha and I'm sure he hides things too. Who doesn't? What he gives the fans keeps them happy anyway, and they probably know much less about him. Win-win.

He's flatulant?? What, did he fart on stage a lot?

What a random complaint.

One episode some seasons back had Dean complaining that Sam was gassy. The blooper reel for that episode on the DVD included Jared cutting a ripe one in the Impala and making Jensen's eyes sting. So maybe he is gassy and pretty toxic with it too. Still, better to pass gas than not and the whole thing came off like male bonding to me.

SWEATY and FLATULENT? LMFAO! Seriously? Who cares? As long as he's not going around Dutch oven-ing fans and rubbing their faces in his pit sweat, how do his body functions and habits effect you?

Yeah, okay, it's your opinion and you have a right to express it, but that doesn't mean that it's not totally hilarious and ridiculous.

And, tbh, from what I hear of their fans, some of them would probably kill to get Dutch ovened by the flatulent one.

...I don't get the complaints about the hair/sideburn situation. I mean, whatever, it's not your thing, but it's hardly that insane and some people do like guys a little scruffier.

We all have preferences, I know, but really, anon? He sweats and farts. oh no. So does every other person in the world! It's part of being human. Plus, some people like the hair. (I personally am attracted to guys with long hair -not Jared, just in general, I mean- even though I'm not so keen on the sideburns.) And he's not THAT bulked up. Just because you don't like that body type (as you seemed to be insinuating that Jared isn't attractive) is no reason to dislike him as a person.

As for Jensen, have you ever considered the fact that he might be shy, or an introvert? I myself am very closed off around people I don't know (aka everyone other than my closest family and a select few friends) and with Jensen regularly meeting hundreds, even thousands, of screaming fans, and the insane things done to him in the past by some fans (it's a wonder he leaves his house!) which include being tackled, sent creepy letters, having some girl claiming he was cheating on Danneel with her and was secretly married to her, having someone show up in a wedding dress expecting to marry him, etc, can you blame him for not being so open?! Maybe he likes his privacy, and I don't think he should be looked down on upon for that.

And anyway, though I've never physically met either of them, from what I've read about them and been told about them, they seem like very nice guys, very sweet with their fans, like perfectly decent human beings.

LMAO @ "flatulent." Yeah, neither of 'em are really my type, but I love them in a bro sort of way, if that makes sense/isn't entirely creepy. I don't go for the jock type, but they're lovable in their way(s). (Misha, on the other hand... ♥____♥)

I just like how comfortable the entire cast is with each other, especially Jared, Jensen, and Misha and the side character circle of friends. That's the draw for me.

They entertain me on the show and they entertain me when I watch the convention footage (which goes above and beyond what they have to do, IMO). Jensen's definitely more reserved than Jared or Misha, but so what? He doesn't have to be as in your face as some of the others are in order for me to like him. They have to deal with some crazy fans and they handle it well. I respect them all for continuing to go to conventions and everything that goes with that in spite of some of the crap they've had to deal with from the fans.

I have no doubt that they hide themselves. But, that's okay. They have a right to their privacy. When they do a panel, I don't expect them to bare their souls. I expect them to entertain the audience and they do every time.

NO HATING ON SIDEBURNS

Okay, and why do you want to like them? You don't have to, you know?
