Which is hilariously ironic and buttmad on your part anon, because you just replied to a straight guy who doesn't do slash ships.

As someone who doesn't ship LoK either, Makorra is just unconvincing. Objectively.

Buttmad? Nah, I could care less actually.

But do people honestly ship these two romantically? Idk how people ship Masami either (outside of crack). They might like each other as people but other than that...they aren't really what you would call good friends. None of the friendships are very convincing actually.

Makorra isn't very well written, but don't sit here and try and sell another ship that has a lot less development and expect to be taken seriously. Just sayin'.

Season 2 is probably going to be a lot better too.

I am a straight guy, though that doesn't mean I'm entirely devoid of slash ships.

I am a homestuck after all.

Yes and no. Homestucks got a large cast. And while there are some characters who are established for liking others of the same sex, there are no current canon sexual relationships in the main cast. A good chunk of the cast is also aliens who's reproduction is so different they don't even understand the concept of having a sexual preference based on gender, making a culture that is effectively bisexual.

So we ship. MxM, MxF, FxF and of course, all the ot3's. We ship often and hard. Sometimes with blatantly contradictory ships sailing from the same port.

One of the alien characters kinda mocks this by being obsessed with shipping, literally drawing a gigantic shipping wall to keep up with her preferences regarding her friends.

She writes it with chalk and blood from things she killed.

I think Hussie was saying something about his observation of the fandom with Nepeta (Also, she's from the "Troll" species, and each of them embodies something about the internet)
