1. I agree with you 100%! Hate/loathe/despise etc are such strong words, and I don't think some people realize that when they loudly declare their strong, almost obsessive hate for the character, they're insulting the fans, too.

I've gotten that sort of thing before. I'm a big fan of Cream the Rabbit from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, for instance, but often when I've mentioned her (such as on a forum) I've had people say things like "she should just go die". It's perfectly okay to dislike a character, but some people go way overboard and end up ostracizing a character's fans, too.

13. You're not alone; me too :) It's good to feel proud of your own creations, especially after putting lots of work into their creation.
