13. I get that...sometimes a lot. I think it's because when you design characters you write them exactly how you want them, and you put what you want in a character with them. You can't really get frustrated and think something could be handled better because you're writing it how you want anyway.

Hi 21. Thank you so much. I find it far more fulfilling to hold the belief they were BFF's with no benefits. It's tragic any direction you go but it's more meaningful for me to take it as the series gives it with out looking deep between the crevices for signs of a sexual relationship.

1. I agree with you 100%! Hate/loathe/despise etc are such strong words, and I don't think some people realize that when they loudly declare their strong, almost obsessive hate for the character, they're insulting the fans, too.

I've gotten that sort of thing before. I'm a big fan of Cream the Rabbit from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, for instance, but often when I've mentioned her (such as on a forum) I've had people say things like "she should just go die". It's perfectly okay to dislike a character, but some people go way overboard and end up ostracizing a character's fans, too.

13. You're not alone; me too :) It's good to feel proud of your own creations, especially after putting lots of work into their creation.

Also, 18. Please don't be afraid to post on your journal. Venting and putting one's feelings in words are a big part of having a journal, correct? You know you're not doing it for the attention, and you know the tragedy and the grief you feel isn't faked at all. There's nothing that says you can't friends-lock the entry, or even make it completely private, either. It's important that you get all your grief out, as it isn't healthy to leave it all in!

Excuse me, but I have to say this.

They're the same damn person. They act the same, they have the same mannerisms, they have the same attitude and everything. Can the fandom as a whole just accept that character development is a Good Thing and stop acting like Axel's Not As Badass because we learn why he did the crazy things he did in CoM?

Promise, they're not radically different characters. So it makes me laugh when people say stuff like this.

18. I'm really sorry to hear that. My own father died a year ago, and I know how it feels to not want to post about it (well, for me... I don't want to seem like I just want nothing but attention). Yet I post anyway. And feel like shit doing it sometimes, too, but eh. I'm just sorry that some people have made you afraid to post about it. (Once, some fandom people exposed my feelings about my father to the entire fandom at one point, which has made me a bit more afraid of talking about my daddy in my posts ever since. But whatever. People are fucking pricks/douches.)
