Maybe it's just a personality clash? I like both of them, and I think they both are cute in their own way. Not sure if I have a "favorite" in the QC cast, but Faye is definitely the hottest. ;)

I know plenty of people who get pissed off by "Hanners" people and "Marigold" people in real life, just because they can't handle something about the personality. Hanners is a bit more neurotic than I normally deal with, but I think I'd be kind of chill around her, still. Marigold's sloppiness would drive me up the wall, but my husband is the same way (and yes, it drives me up the wall), so I can still deal. I would actually have a hard time not being/staying friends with any of the cast, I think.

(Pintsize's obnoxiousness would reach a critical point, however, at which time I would download all of my Avengers porn onto him as a warning about the kind of stuff I could unleash if he didn't can it. ^^; )

I don't like Hanners and Marigold as much as I used to but only in an I'm-indifferent-to-them-now sense. But it's like I preferred Momo when she was Pintsize's....uh...size. Winslow's sweet and I like him because he seems like what would happen if a lost puppy could talk. But...honestly? I think my favourite would be Dora just because she's the type I'd probably enjoy a relationship with. She's a girl with issues, a lot like me (except she's actually getting therapy). Unless I could have Marten's mom OMG. I know this is way weird but Faye seems off limits to me now 'cause of Angus :P

I'm just glad we haven't seen Raven since forever. Her stupidity was getting too much for me.

Christ, I'd rather deal with Hanners and Marigold than Dora's issues any day. I nearly stopped reading over the Marten/Dora fuckery that was their trainwreck of a relationship. That shit was painful to read and impossible to enjoy. I hated Dora.

I am still not fond of her but she's much more tolerable as a side character than a main love interest. She still hasn't gotten karmic payback for the shit she pulled, but at least she's trying to be not quite a raging douche canoe now.

Faye, on the other hand, had nicely grown up, found the right guy and moved on with her life. Now if Marten could find his spine and his balls (both are probably in his mother's purse) we'd be golden.

I like them the best! They don't seem particularly involved in the ~boy/girl drama~ that's the least favorite part of the comic for me, they're just cute together and they do funny things.

Sick of Dora, though. Calling it now, she's going to have a fling with Tai and then regret it. Then Tai's love life is going to fade back into "off doing poly or something" and never even have a relationship with even a minor character. Or a character who gets shown on-panel. Or has a name.

Like Hanners, but Marigold gets on my nerves. No, not bathing does not make you cute. Stop it.

I am, however, not caring for Dora--really haven't since right before the break-up. I find it really hard to sympathize with her, and perhaps that's what is making it hard for me to care.

I just want more Faye, and especially more Faye and Angus time together. I love them.

I always hate myself for reading this comic in the first place, but I think Faye and Dora are at least interesting. Hannelore and Marigold are such 2D superficial characters. I feel like Jeph just has no talent for drawing or characterization or world building, but I keep reading it week after week so who am I to judge...

I still read it because I've been reading it since nearly the beginning and it's so easy to just read it every day or even catch up at the end of the week, but I hate myself for it so much. I can't tell if I only thought it was awesome because I was like 15 at the time or if it's just gotten ridiculously shitty over time. I think perhaps a combination of the two. I think Jeph may be a wonderful example of perseverance in place of talent.
