Does anyone have any good tips on how to make a very orange/red/yellow-ish image look more normal (in Photoshop, that is)? It's a human face that I wanna icon, if that matters. I tried cooling filters and messing with the levels and saturation and so forth, but nothing really looks good :\

Have you tried placing an unsaturated blue "lighten: add" layer over it? I generally use a blurry brush and then toy with the opacity.

Nope, I hadn't! I'm not very good with Photoshop, and the one I have is kinda old (CS) -- but I'm off to give it a try now. Thanks for the tip :D

I like the Curves function to play around with, too. Sometimes brightness and contrast make a difference.
