I know this will probably come off as ignorant but,

If you have a kink like this, maybe not the daddy's little girl one but one where he's still calling you his good girl, etc (endearing terms like that), does that mean that you're secretly sexually attracted to your father? Because I call my dad daddy and it doesn't turn me on sexually to call a guy daddy, but I do indeed that nurturing type kink where I'm obedient, aim to please, and where the guy tells me what to do.

What you described wasn't a daddy kink anyway, it was submission.

What you're describing, in itself, doesn't sound that much like a daddy kink to me. It sounds more like a type of submission. Dominance and submission can be nurturing without being parental.

That said, I think for most people who do have a daddy kink and like roleplaying it, it can be more of a fantasy thing. They find daddy kink hot, but that doesn't mean they find their actual fathers, or real father-child relationships, hot. The two dynamics are just different most of the time, I think.

Nah, it's a specific kink having more to do with elements of D/s and total ownership along with being helpless and totally cared for and cherished, in along to being disciplined, with the whole thing a step above regular D/s in terms of the intimacy involved.

There are def similar themes in parent/child relationships, and the ~wrongness~ of the incest overtones can make the kink more exciting, but it's not the same as incest kink and it's definitely not the same as wanting a parent IRL. Just like having rape fantasies doesn't mean you want to be raped IRL.

Hahaha, not that I know of, but I'm no expert at all. I think it's just tender D/s. It could just be Daddy kink, too. But I think you could identify as a sub, if being treated like that really really appeals to you in a practical sense.
