ayrt. What the other anon said. Considering how I have severe depression that makes it pretty fucking hard to do anything creative (which all my hobbies are), I could've done without that suggestion.

But was it a suggestion? OP seems more to be describing their severity of depression, as it relates to just how "fucked up" those priorities are,
rather than suggesting anything.

Also, if you've yet to come across suicide as any relation to depression, until this point, I admire your innocence. You can hardly blame OP for the "suggestion," any more than you could a suicide survivor for existing and talking about their experiences.

Just kind of ridiculously selfish, IMO.

The OP doesn't have to "suggest" anything for the description to be triggering. It's triggering because of how descriptive it is.

I have the right to be as selfish as I want with my depression and suicidal tendencies. Yes, it was a suggestion. No, they didn't say, "Hey, you should do this." They didn't have to. No, it isn't the first time I've come across suicide. I just, you know, like to avoid it when I can because it makes me feel fucking awful.
