4. I get that voice too, and it stops me from finishing/accomplishing a lot of things. :| There isn't much more I can say except "try to fight it" but I feel somewhat hypocritical thinking about it.

18. I think not being to identify with a wide range of characters is more common than you think. In all that I've read/watched/played/etc and have plenty of characters to love or like, I can also only think of a very small number of characters that I've strongly identified with and in those cases the experience has actually usually been uncomfortable for me. I see myself in the characters and their situations or experiences and it reveals painful truths that I otherwise wouldn't have examined. And I think to have that sort of meaningful experience with a work of fiction is pretty rare.

Addressing the other part of your secret, introverted characters, I think part of that might be because these types of characters can be very hard to write, especially in a visual medium when you aren't privy to their thoughts. Andy and Sakaki are two cases where this was done really well (I haven't seen the anime the third character is from, so I can't comment on that).

21. I'd play MMORPGs if it weren't for some of the other players. I read stuff about WoW and it's all crap like "lol fags" and such. I already live with an annoying teenage boy (my little brother :|), so I'd rather not deal with them in my escapist video game funtime, if I can help it.

That said, I've been reading about the upcoming Warhammer MMORPG and looking at screenshots and I find myself really tempted to try and get into the beta and otherwise getting really excited over the game. D: Maybe it will attract a more mature crowd?

26. Karolina! &hearts And I know how you feel. I hate to see a gay character where their sexuality is treated as the only aspect of their characterization and that's what defines them. Like "I'M GAY. I CARE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I AM GAY. DID I MENTION I'M GAY". :| Things are getting better, I think, but it's going slowly.
