Oh my God, a Closer secret!!!!
I love this show so much. Brenda is one of the best fictional women on television and I love the team to bits.

I'm sad to see it end, but it's better to let it end now than to let it run and become mediocre at best.

Still. So, so good while it lasted.

My mom talks about this show all the time and it makes me wanna see it. If it's about to end soon then I can watch without worrying about catching up!

Like anon above said, it's better than letting the show drag on until its integrity starts wearing out.

Why does your age have anything to do with being sad about a favorite show ending? It's okay to be disappointed anon, even if some people will tell you 'it's just a TV show'. Hey, if you spend that long watching a set of characters, you get attached. It's perfectly normal.

I occasionally think back on some of my favorites and wish they were still on TV.

Thank you so much for posting this, OP. I'm so happy to see I'm not alone in this!

The Closer means a lot to me. I love the whole cast, the dialogue is genuinely funny and clever, and Brenda is such a strong and amazing character. I watched some of it with my mom a long time ago and got hooked, and I went home last night (and intend to spend the next five Mondays home) to watch it with her.

It's going to be a very bittersweet goodbye. Like the anon said, at least it's ending on a very high note. 8)
