If you're interested in a cat that looks more wild than your regular tabby, I'd suggest looking at breeds such as the Bengal, Savannah or even the Bombay. For cats like the Bengal or Savannah, though, F4 ones are the ones that are more suitable to be kept as pets. Still, their temperament might be a little harder to get a handle on and they would require a lot more hands on care. If it's just the look you want without so much wildness, then the Bombay or Toyger would be great breeds!
