i love how some feminists actually want women and men to be exactly the same in every way. it doesn't matter how much you wish this, it's never going to happen. a male/female dynamic is absolutely going to be different than a male/male dynamic.

Because men and women can't ever just have an epic friendship in television. It always has to have sexual tension, and that's incredibly frustrating. I would rather see them as friends, just for the show to do something different, and distinguish itself in some way.

But the fact that you're throwing "feminist" around like an insult makes me think you're a troll anyway, so why bother?

You don't have to "want women and men to be exactly the same in every way" to want a tv show where a man and woman are just friends instead the "OOOOH, sexual tension" crap that's in every. goddamn. show. with a male/female partnership.

The only two examples that came to my mind are Danny and Jackie on Blue Bloods and Allison and Scanlon on Medium, both of which air(/ed) on CBS (even if the latter didn't start out there), so there's that.

Yeah. It's going to be different but so far most male/female dynamics on television fall under the same three categories while male/male dynamics can be pretty much anything.
