There was no race swap with Nick Fury, you raging idiot. Ultimate Nicky Fury is a different character and was created from Square 1 to look like Samuel L. Jackson.

Doesn't mean that the character wasn't raceswapped. I mean, think about it - even in the another universe, you wouldn't have like a characters with an identical/name/background/history/job who is suddenly another color. C'mon - let's be honest, the character Nick Fury WAS raceswapped with the sole intention of casting Jackson in the movies.

Uh, I thought Jackson wasn't even asked, at first, if they could use his likeness in the redesign of the character in the comics and he eventually contacted Marvel to give his permission with the caveat that he be cast in any future movies using the character. Seems like a sloppy method of intentionally snagging Jackson.
