Oh wow! Thank you so much for the recs and Brother From Another Planet has just made itself a comfy spot at no. 1!

Surprisingly my mom loved L'iceberg but has an unfortunate habit of saying "The L Iceberg" which drives me up the wall!

Have you ever seen Patrik 1.5? I only bring it up because I watched it the same night as L'iceberg and loved it. Can't remember if it is on Netflix though.

I haven't seen Patrik 1.5. And I don't think it is on Netflix. But, luckily, my library has an awesome foreign movie section, so I'll go see if it has it. Thank you!

Your mom and me share the same habit. I can't help but add "the" to titles. So, Chronicle because The Chronicle. Yes, it is annoying to other people too.

After so many attempts of explaining l' already means the and how to pronounce it the french way she started calling it "The iceberg with the lice infestation," we have now called a draw and it is referred to as "that cold french movie" or "the french movie about the iceberg". :D

Oops, forgot my context. My mother can't seem to acknowledge Belgian is a thing outside of waffles so it's french in our family! Should have mentioned that part!

I'm not sure she knows what noob means but it made me laugh.
