I am so waiting for this book. I hate the thought of Annabelle and Percy misunderstanding each other, but I am so stoked to see what's going on. I love Hazel and Piper and think they're way different from each other. I can't wait to see what the whole Leo/Hazel reveal is gonna be. I mean, clearly Leo is her old boyfriend's grandkid, but how weird? :)

Oh, I didn't mean personality wise, just...Girl is friends with other male lead when lead character shows up/Has father issues/Racial issues/both tricked by gaia to rise one of their children...etc

I'm really looking forward to that. I'm guessing it will really hit home for her that she's been dead for a few decades! Plus I really want to see the two main groups join up, finally.

YES!

I read all the Percy Jackson books first and loved them and just accidentally happened onto the second series while looking for audio books to listen to on long car rides with my kid.

I think I like this new series even better than the first. I think Leo and Frank and Hazel and Tyson and Ella are my favorite characters period from the whole universe. :)

Clearly Annabelle is going to play some big role in the next book; I just don't want her made a fool of because she is awesome.

I think she's going to take her hatred for Hera too far, and maybe set the team back a bit :/ It sucks...I hope not, but, after what Ella said about the Mark burning through rome...yeah.

It's such a shame, because it was going so well!

That sounds plausible. Or maybe she'll be tricked and make a wrong decision. Everyone looks to her as the brains because, well, she is. If she fucks up and makes a decision and people get hurt....

My daughter frequently goes, "Cinnamon, cinnamon is good for harpies" while begging for breakfast treats. It's kind of adorbs. LOL

Ha ha, aww. I'm hoping Tyson is in the movies, just so if they ever make a LH movie series, that they can keep them together!

I'm assuming she makes some sort of weapon, maybe, and that's what it means. I don't know. I'm wondering if he'll give more hints as to which Neptune child will save Hazel...(I hope it's Frank LOL)

I actually thought it was the horse. I like that better than it being Frank or Percy because not relationship-loaded.

I did really like her horse...it was nice to see one that wasn't a pegasi!

I really hope Frank doesn't die in the end :( Would be extremely sad ending.

For some reason, I think if anyone dies it'll be Jason. No real reason, just a gut feeling. IDK. I hope it's wrong though.

I tell you who can die, is that teddy bear shredding asshole of an oracle. I forget his name, but clearly he killed Gwen and didn't expect her rise again. That's my take on it.
