Sometimes when I'm socializing with people I don't know and they're boring me to death I pretend I'm undercover and trying to collect information about paranormal events in the neighborhood. It helps me feign interest and sometimes actually remember what people said about their twelve cats or their trip to Sedona. But it also has given me weird headcanon about my grandfather's neighbors...
